Hi Ethan,

We can certainly check out your prusa and give you some tips. Our open house is on the first Thursday of each month, but we certainly welcome guests via other arrangements. If you would like to, send me an email (my email is on the wiki under membership fees) or post on our forums and we can arrange a time to be there to show you around the place and help you with the reprap.

On the steering situation, why not drop the dual handlebars, and go with a single bar that extends downward, so you push it in the direction you wish to turn? Perhaps some type of swivel knob to actually hold, and goose-neck the steering shaft to ease the likely-already-crowded crotch-space.
